What is GPSmyCity?
GPSmyCity is a travel app that contains thousands of walking tours and articles that were written by people (like me) who have actually visited the places they write about and walked the same tour routes they are recommending.
GPSmyCity then turns these walks and articles into apps with GPS coordinates built right in. And the app works offline, so you don’t have to worry about burning through your data while you’re abroad.
You can read and download articles for free, but if you want the GPS feature (a very handy feature, indeed), there’s a small annual fee (less than £20 per year at this writing). It’s easy, quick, and affordable.
